Ideal Single Piece CAT6 modular plug connectors simplify cable to connector assembly by eliminating the traditional sled and liner 3 piece connector design. An open body design allows CAT6 conductors to be untwisted, aligned and trimmed down to 1/4 in. – 1/2 in. for insertion into the connector. A standard RJ-45 style crimp tool is used to attach the connector to the cable.
- Single piece Cat 6 connector same preparation as Cat 5e connector
- 3 pin IDC contact, 50 gold plated over 150 nickel secured in place – no loose pins in the package
- RJ-45 style for 23-24 AWG conductors
- Crimp with standard RJ-45 modular plug crimp tool
- Compatible with 23 and 24 AWG conductors max conductor dia of 0.041 in.
